For the love of homemade

Bread crumbs add flavor, crunch, and aroma to your cooking. In Sicily, they use crumbs daily and call it “Cone-za”. But most crumbs do not start with real bread. They electrocute and extrude doughs often filled with sugars, hydrogenated oils, and preservatives. Conza crumbs differently with real bread, olive oil, and herbs. You will want to add a little crunch to every bite!

Bakers and Shakers

In 2023, Alex joined forces with a sourdough bakery and embarked on a mission to become the authority on the small but mighty world of bread crumbs. He tested different combinations of crumb size, seasoning blends, and toasting colors to find the perfect combination of texture and tastes. The result is an unmistakably delicious fresh flavor that we call “Cone-za”!

pronounced “cone-za”

It’s Sicilian slang for bread crumbs!

Conza (slang for conzare/conciare) directly translates to seasoning or condiment. In Sicily, seasoned bread crumbs are the staple crunchy condiment.
